Community Impact

We believe that joy and purpose goes hand in hand.

Do Good. Create Change.

Everything we do is in pursuit of bettering and strengthening our communities. As we live out the “people helping people” credit union philosophy, Members First proudly supports our communities through donations, sponsorships, student scholarships, Little Free Libraries at each branch location, meaningful partnerships and volunteerism.

Where we focus our support

As we invest our time and resources in the communities we serve, we focus on three areas of impact:

Affordable and accessible housing is a widespread issue in the state of Michigan. Members First has a vested interest and ability to impact this issue through our products, services, and philanthropic giving.

Members First was founded as a teacher’s credit union. Education remains at the core of our mission through student scholarships, financial wellness programs, support for literacy, and more.
