National Voter Registration Day!
September 24th is Voter Registration Day! Here at Members First Credit Union, we find community involvement to be so important and we see it as our duty to encourage our members to participate with us. Your vote matters!
There are all sorts of issues that our state and federal public officials have an impact on that matter to credit unions. Just to name a couple, data breach and tax legislation both play a role in your credit union membership. As a credit union member, you have a voice, but only if you use it! So, take advantage today and get registered to vote!
If you are mailing in your voter registration application, be sure to have it mailed prior to October 21st in order to participate in Michigan's next general election. If you need to print out a copy of the application, click here!
If you miss the mail-in deadline, no sweat! You can visit your city or township clerk's office up until November 5th, the day of the next state election, to register to vote!
Are you unsure if you are registered? Or are you unsure where you need to go on election day? Click here to find out!
