Happy New Year! I love the essence of a fresh start, resetting, and changing habits. At this time last year, I spoke to the possibility of an uncertain and challenging year in front of us…and here we are again.
The cost of everything is higher, and budgets are tight, if not overextended. But do you know what two years in a row gives us?
Experience. We know what to do.
We continue to believe in showing up. Our team relates first. We use our experience and connect at a human level to lower barriers. We have an atmosphere of belonging with no judgement, just opportunity. Each of our team members is empowered to find a path forward. We collaborate to create. We work within teams, across teams, with you and our communities to find wins that work for everyone.
In 2023, we launched our M1 brand refresh and were named one of American Banker’s Best Credit Unions to work for, and over 8,000 of you chose to join us. When we build our membership, we strengthen communities!
Our 2024 strategic initiatives remain strong in action on financial wellbeing for all, elevated inclusive products and lending solutions, and ease of accessibility.
We believe outlook is everything. We plan to allow our vibrant, uplifting, and resourceful personality to shine in 2024 through the possibly uncertain and challenging year. We truly find joy in our purpose of serving you every step of the way—cheers to a new year and creating thriving communities together.
