M1 Matches Team Pledge to United Way

M1 team members showed their dedication to making a difference, raising $12,000 during United Way’s annual charitable giving campaign. With a full dollar-for-dollar match from the Credit Union, the impact was doubled - strengthening critical programs that support families and communities across the region.

“I’m incredibly proud of our team,” said Members First President & CEO Carrie Iafrate. “Over the past few weeks, the genuine joy our M1 team finds in creating purposeful impact has truly shone. From the statewide, all-employee Day of Impact volunteering event in October to collaborating and raising $12,000 for the United Way campaign—this team leads with generosity and heart! With our dollar-for-dollar match, we’re contributing a total of $24,000 to support programs that provide food, housing, mental health resources, and education for families in our neighborhoods. Here’s to building thriving communities!”

This annual giving effort is a long-standing tradition at M1 and a reflection of the organization’s belief that meaningful change happens when communities come together. Team members from branches across Michigan joined in, generously to help United Way continue its mission of improving lives through education, financial stability, and essential services.

The donation supports seven United Way organizations across Michigan. Benefiting organizations include:

• United Way of Midland County
