$10,000 Raised for M1 Scholarships

Members First Credit Union is excited to share the success of its 27th Annual Swinging for Scholarships Golf Outing- raising $10,000 to support local students pursuing college or skilled trades in 2026!

Hosted at the beautiful Pohl Cat Golf Course, this sold-out event brought together 36 teams, 144 golfers, and more than 70 sponsors for a day full of friendly competition, community spirit, and a whole lot of joy.

“Our annual golf outing is truly a celebration of more than just the game; it’s an opportunity to celebrate student success,” said Bethany Dutcher, Vice President of Marketing at Members First Credit Union. “We are grateful for our members, sponsors, and partners whose unwavering support makes this amazing event possible each year!”

What started 27 years ago with just two $500 scholarships has grown into one of the credit union’s most impactful initiatives- now awarding four $2,500 scholarships every year. As a credit union founded by teachers and school employees in 1936, Members First is proud to continue supporting education in ways that matter.
