2026 Annual Meeting

Election Information

There are two seats on the Board of Directors that are up for election. The Nominating Committee nominates Renée Deckrow and Joe Kreusch. There is one seat on the Supervisory Committee that is up for election. The Nominating Committee nominates Marybeth Penkala.

Board of Directors Nominee

Incumbent Reneé Deckrow 

Renée Deckrow has served on the Members First Credit Union Board of Directors for three years and is currently up for re-election. She is the owner and founder of LiveOak Coffeehouse, a community-centered business rooted in service and connection. Renée is actively involved in the Midland community, having participated in organizations including Public Arts Midland, Midland Noon Rotary, the Midland Area Wellbeing Coalition, and the Midland Area Community Foundation, where she serves on the Foundation Directed Grants Committee. She also serves on the Coleman Culinary Advisory Committee and has recently joinined the Midland Business Alliance Board. In addition to her board service, Renée is a regular volunteer at Midland's Open Door Shelter.

Incumbent Joe Kreusch

Joe has served on the Members First Credit Union Board of Directors for three years and previously served on the Supervisory Committee since 2007. He is President of Burkhart-Presidio Insurance Agency and is a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Platinum Agent and Healthcare.gov Elite Circle of Champions member. Joe is the Vice Chair of the Gladwin Downtown Development Authority and Chairs the Midland Business Alliance Government Advocacy Committee.

Supervisory Committee Nominee

Incumbent Marybeth Penkala 

Marybeth Penkala has served on the Supervisory Committee for three years. In addition, she is the Senior Director of Business Engagement for the Midland Business Alliance, a member of the Young Leaders United Executive Council at United Way, a board member of Midland Child Advocacy Center, sits on the Midland Area Community Foundation Scholarship Committee, and serves on the Coalition for Substance Free Resiliency at The Legacy Center for Community Success.
