Kyle Hartley Promoted to VP of Strategy

Members First Credit Union (M1) is excited to announce the promotion of Kyle Hartley to Vice President of Strategy. Hartley brings 15 years of financial services experience, 14 of which were spent at M1, with a strong record of leadership, innovation, and operational growth.

In his new role, Hartley will lead strategic development and execution across the organization, guiding project management, data intelligence, innovation initiatives, process improvement, and enterprise-wide strategic alignment. His focus will be on ensuring that organizational resources are utilized effectively and that measurable results are achieved to further strengthen M1’s vision, culture, and member experience.

Throughout his tenure at M1, Hartley has contributed to several milestone initiatives, including the merger with Central Michigan Federal Credit Union, the 2023 brand refresh, the opening of the Saginaw branch, the upcoming Bay City branch, and a debit card conversion. His strategic mindset and collaborative leadership style have played a significant role in shaping M1’s growth.

Hartley holds a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University and is a Certified Credit Union Executive through America’s Credit Unions. He also holds a Change Management Professional certification from Michigan State University and has completed the Cultivating Process Improvement program through C-Myers.

Outside of work, Hartley enjoys spending time with his wife, Jessica, and their two children, Jackson and Raegan. An outdoor enthusiast at heart, he can often be found hunting, fishing, golfing, or exploring Michigan’s great outdoors.
