We are installing Little Free Libraries at all 11 of our branch locations!

Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization based in St. Paul, Minnesota. Their mission is to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led Little Free Libraries.

CU Kind Day is a designated date for credit unions across the State of Michigan to showcase the credit union difference with an activity of their choosing. In celebration of CU Kind Day, which is occurring on October 10th, Members First is honoring our roots as a teacher’s credit union by empowering children and adults the opportunity to discover a personally relevant book to read that is not limited by time, space, or privilege.

Our credit union is excited to create additional spaces in our communities to access books and encourage literacy and learning. We welcome all community members, credit union members or not, to participate in our Little Free Libraries.

We will be rolling out the Little Free Libraries in phases, so please stay tuned for updates on this page of when each branch will be launching their Little Free Library!
