Can't vote on my own pic

I was able to vote for my pic and my daughter's pic the first 2 days that they were posted but now every time I try to vote, no matter which type of device I'm using, I just get a blank box with an x in the corner and my vote will not register. Others have told me that they are having the same issue. It's a bit difficult to try to win a contest when nobody can vote on your pic. Is there something that we're doing wrong. We just click on the heart on the pic and we get that empty text box with an x in the corner. Very frustrating as we were trying to win this gas card to help us pay for a trip we're taking my 80 year old dad on in August.
