This years loan was a joke.

I applied the first day it was available and called requesting about the status of my loan, emailed, everything under the sun. No reply. So I put another loan request in and now it says it’s no longer available . Ha! I’ve been less than impressed with all services from MFCU, and my fiancé and I will be looking around for a different place to bank with.

Is the only way to get the $1500 if you got a pre-approval letter? I have had the $1500 loan the past 2 years and planned to get it again. But if I will have to drop back down to the $1000 loan, I would prefer to know that in advance rather than being surprised.

Thanks for your inquiry. You may be able to get the $1,500 Whatever Loan if you have had a Whatever Loan in the past and had a positive payment history. Please call 855.835.6328 x.0 for account specific questions.

I’ve seen a few comments saying you can apply for this loan online, I moved out of town and that would be easier for me to apply online instead of coming in to a branch location. How would I do that?
Reply From Members First Credit Union:

Thanks for your inquiry. You can apply for the Whatever Loan online starting Monday, November 2. Stay tuned for more information on Monday!

Hello! I received the Whatever Loan the last 2 years. If I get a letter in the mail telling me I am pre-approved for $1,500 this year do I still need to schedule an appointment and visit a branch? Or is this something I could do online / at the drive-thru?

-Thank you

Awesome Customer Service MFCU Call Center Judy

I called today notifying that my direct deposit was going to change days and companies. Judy from the MFCU call center helped me tremendously. She offered to put on my account that I do not like confirming my account with my SS number. I have had numerous problems with this before. Additionally she recommend that I go to a branch and set up a password so I never have to deal with the SS number question.
My direct deposit had not hit my account yet. She offered to wait until tomorrow when the direct deposit hits to make sure the transfer is smooth and automated with this new timeframe and company. Shout out to Judy! Thank you so much. Helped me become aware of a solution that I did not know existed.
