MFCU to Make a Positive Difference in Mt Pleasant

We will be building a full-service branch in Mt. Pleasant's Union Township.  The 3,200 square foot facility will be located at the corner of Bluegrass Road and Encore Drive.  We are dedicated to Making a Positive Difference for you and the communities that we serve.  "We are excited to be joining a growing community that aligns with our mission," said Eric Brubaker, President and CEO. "We already have a strong group of members in Mt. Pleasant.  This building will allow us to give them an even higher level of service while welcoming in their family, friends, and businessess."

Construction, using local contractors, is expected to begin after the first of the year with an opening slated for July 2011.  All those who live, work, worship, go to school, and do busines in Isabella County are already eligible for membership with the credit union.  Beyond serving the community with beneficial financial products and services, we plan to promote financial literacry, be involved with the Chamber of Commerce, and support community organizations.

Loan Payment Changes Due to Reg. Z

President Obama recently approved new regulation that requires lenders to mail or deliver statements for credit cards and open-end loans at least 21 days prior to a loan payment due date. Most of our auto, signature, line of credit, and credit card loans are written under an open-end plan. In order for Members First Credit Union to be in compliance with the regulation your loan payment due date may have changed. You are welcome to adapt to the new due date or continue making payments as you have been, since your new due date is now later in the month. Your automatic payments have not been affected by this. If you have any questions or would like your automatic payment date changed, please call us at 888-835-5151.
