Member Privilege

Having a check returned due to insufficient funds can be a costly and humiliating experience.  That's why we provide you with  Member Privilegesm, a special overdraft privilege.  This service gives you an added level of protection against unanticipated cash flow emergencies and account reconciliation errors.

 

Member Privilegesm is automatically assigned to your account. As long as you maintain your account in good standing (defined as making regular deposits and bringing your account to a positive balance at least once every 30 days), Members First Credit Union may pay overdrafts up to the Member Privilegesm limit on your account. Though there is no fee associated with Member Privilegesm, you will be charged the regular NSF fee of $25 for each item paid.

Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS)

EFTPS is a free electronic service provided by the U.S. Department of Treasury that allows you to make your personal and federal tax payments online or by phone.  It also allows you to schedule your payments in advance and cancel your payments.  You can enroll for EFTPS by visiting the EFTPS government website.  
 

 

ACHieve Online

ACHieve Online provides Automated Clearing House (ACH) Origination for your payroll.  Not only can you save time and money by offering direct deposit to your employees, but you will also be providing them an additional employee benefit.

The business

Each business owner and authorized users*

+ Date of Birth

+ Primary (drivers license, passport, state ID) and secondary identification

(*All owners/authorized users must be present at account opening)

Additional information/documents required:

Sole Proprietorships

+ SSN or EIN (Employer Identification Number) may be used as the Tax ID

+ Business License OR

+ Fictitious Name Certificate or Certificate of Trade Name


Corporations

+ EIN (Employer Identification Number) must be provided as the Tax ID

+ Articles of Incorporation

+ Fictitious Name Certificate or Certificate of Trade Name (if doing business
   under another name other than the corporate name)


*If Professional Corporation, a Certificate of Registration from the appropriate licensing board

Limited Liability Company (LLC)

+ EIN (Employer Identification Number) must be provided as the Tax ID**

+ Articles of Incorporation

+ Operating Agreement, if applicable

+ Fictitious Name Certificate or Certificate of Trade Name (if doing business
   under another name other than the LLC name)


*If Professional Corporation, a Certificate of Registration from the appropriate licensing board
** If only one owner of LLC, may use owner's SSN

Partnerships

+ EIN (Employer Identification Number) must be provided as the Tax ID

+ Partnership Agreement

+ Fictitious Name Certificate or Certificate of Trade Name

Organizations and Associations

+ Copy of Bylaws or Charter

+ Proof of Federal Tax ID Number in the organization's name

+ ID or Driver's License of all authorized users on account


Members First Credit Union may require additional paper work upon opening account.

 

Notice to Business Account Members Regarding Unlawful Internet Gambling

This notice is to inform you that transactions that are restricted under the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act are prohibited and should not be processed through your account at Members First Credit Union.
